Project Overview
This project was conducted as part of the Data Science Bootcamp from Big Blue Data Academy.
The objective was to showcase key lung cancer statistics across multiple countries, focusing on smoking patterns, treatment outcomes, and trends in Greece. These dashboards offer interactive insights, enabling users to dynamically filter data and explore connections between various factors.
The primary goals of this project were to:
To investigate critical demographics and health factors influencing lung cancer mortality rates.
To conduct in-depth analyses of smoking's impact on cancer incidence.
To examine the relationship between treatment approaches and patient outcomes.
To deliver focused insights into lung cancer cases in Greece.
Dashboard Overview
Demographic Dashboard
Provides insights into lung cancer incidence across different countries, highlighting age and gender distributions.

Smoker Analysis
Highlights the impact of smoking status on cancer rates, with filters for country, diagnosis year, gender and age group.

Treatment Analysis
Explores survival rates across treatment types, with visualizations for survival per treatment type, average days per treatment type, survival per cancer stage, and survival per age group. Filters include year of diagnosis, age group, cancer stage, and smoking status

Conclusion
The project delivered a series of interactive dashboards offering a comprehensive analysis of lung cancer mortality data. These dashboards enable users to visually explore the connections between smoking, treatment methods, and survival rates.
